Mindfulness has certainly been a hot topic over the last few years, but it’s far from a passing fad. Thanks to its effectiveness, the concept has quickly ingrained itself into many workplace cultures, and it’s not ending there.
Major names, from Google to Goldman Sachs, Spotify, and others have begun offering mindfulness training as a benefit to employees. Google even has its own course called “Search Inside Yourself,” which focuses on the benefits of mindfulness and meditation both inside and outside of the workplace.
When mental and physical stress is out of the way, humans are more productive. That’s why mindfulness leads to impressive increases in productivity, and another reason why employers love to promote it.
